Heartea – Logo Project

A logo to put on some sort of clothing piece. I chose to take two very overused things in art, and meld them together into one to create one joint logo. The heart was just a regular cartoon heart, however I was very specific about the flower. The flower is a Digitalis lutea or a foxglove. They’re well known for their bell-like bulbs than hang off the plant.

The name of the logo comes from a melting of the word heart and lutea.

Many ideas were considered like foxglove hanging around a heart, but I decided to have the flowers grow on the heart. The seriffed lettering “HEARTEA” This was the result:
